Shutdown / Major Cleaning
A one-time deep cleaning of the full room, top to bottom, performed with the cleaning agent your facility specifies.
Ceilings are cleaned using the same unidirectional, overlapping-stroke method as a Triple Cleaning, without contacting HEPA filters, in a single pass. Walls, vertical surfaces, flat surfaces and floors follow the same top-down sequence, finishing at the exit.
How it differs from Triple Cleaning
One pass instead of three, and your agent instead of a multi-agent sequence. It is the right scope when the room needs a thorough reset rather than certification-grade preparation: a scheduled shutdown, a seasonal deep clean, a changeover, or recovery after a period of heavy use.
If your certifier, SOP or internal requirements call for multiple sequential passes with specified agents, that is a Triple Cleaning.
